Teaching and tutoring experience

I have worked extensively with homeschool GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry, covering the entire syllabus in preparation for their IGCSE examinations. One family provided the following feedback after I worked with their daughter Sophie:

“It has been fantastic having you teach Sophie. It was always a pleasure to see you at the house and we have missed your face to face lessons. Sophie has grown enormously in self confidence and happiness since you started teaching her as I hope you have noticed too.”

I have also tutored Year 6 pupils in Mathematics in-person, adapting my teaching to respond to their individual needs at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle. I have tutored individual first-year medical students in Chemistry and Biology in-person and online at Barts and The London School of Medicine.

Teaching style and philosophy

Fostering engagement and building confidence, I see tutoring as nurturing the students’ skills and strategies that can give them an edge not just in exams, but throughout their academic life and beyond. I am also committed to helping my tutees to manage the challenges of balancing extracurricular activities with high entry requirements. An Outstanding achiever with a deep knowledge and understanding of dyslexia, I have a breadth of approaches to fit the needs of my tutees and ensure they achieve their full potential.

Additional information

I am a warm and dynamic bilingual tutor as well as a medical student at Barts and The London School of Medicine. In my spare time, I am a rawer, a fencer, and play the violin, which I studied at the highly competitive Guildhall School of Music.

I am based in London and I am willing to teach in-person in Central London and South London, but I am ready to travel further for long sessions. I am also happy to give online tuition.
