As someone with mild dyslexia herself, she has had to work to overcome the struggles that confront dyslexic students in the classroom, and was instrumental in helping a number of students, including her brother, with severe dyslexia throughout their school life. She enjoys employing a variety of techniques to help students make the necessary breakthroughs to overcome any difficulties inside and outside of the classroom, and is able to adapt these techniques to each individual student.
