MODERN LANGUAGES

Learning Modern Languages, whether at school or for the enjoyment of immersing in the culture of another country, can be one of the most rewarding and useful endeavours that a child can undertake.

Linguistically, young learners are particularly malleable and we feel that this opportunity must be harnessed before it is potentially lost in later life. At Pegasus we are very lucky to have a range of highly talented linguists, whether they be native speakers, top university graduates and PhD students or career teachers and GCSE / A-Level examiners. Each of these tutors loves the language they teach and the respective cultures. Having spent extended periods living in these countries, they take great pleasure in opening windows and exposing their students to the vast cultural landscapes that enamoured them to these countries in the first place.

At Pegasus, we teach French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Mandarin, Danish and Japanese. We also tutor adult learners, both vocationally and for those who are simply interested in learning a new language.
