Teaching style and philosophy:
I'm a highly experienced and motivational tutor, continuously striving for my pupils' success. I am an outgoing individual with an international mindset, having lived and worked in Madrid, Paris, Uruguay and Valencia, where I perfected my fluent French and Spanish.
I have a wealth of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including dyslexia, ASD, ADHD and global developmental delay, as well as higher-ability pupils from Year 7 (KS3) up to A-Level (KS5). My calm, patient and positive approach consistently earns praise from parents and pupils alike for enhancing my students’ confidence and self-esteem, which ultimately impacts their ultimate grades and outcomes to a significant degree.
I am adept at tailoring my sessions to meet each child’s individual needs, believing that every child deserves the opportunity to foster a love for learning and fulfil their full potential. In response to the shift towards online learning in recent years, I have invested considerable effort into creating an engaging and supportive virtual learning environment, ensuring that my students benefit from our lessons to an optimal level. My innovative teaching methods are informed by my interest and exploration of the latest teaching techniques and research.
As a person, I am very positive and always give lots of targeted praise and constructive feedback. I always fuse my passion for teaching with my love for the French and Spanish language and culture, making my lessons dynamic and fun.
