Teaching and tutoring experience
Sholto was a private tutor in Oxford for 18 months before joining Pegasus in 2018. Since then he has tutored a number of students from 11+ to undergraduate degree level. His success stories include a year 8 boy to successfully achieve the top academic scholarship to Winchester College; coaching an undergraduate biology student with learning disabilities to achieve a 2.1 in his first year exams; and helping biomedical student to achieve an unconditional offer to a Russell Group university through a combination of personal statement support, interview practice and subject specific work.
Sholto also has extensive experience and success with Oxbridge interview practice and personal statement drafting.
Having suffered from mild-dyslexia himself, Sholto understands that the needs of students with dyslexia are specific and different and has been successful in helping several dyslexic students reach their full potential.
Additional information
Sholto has conducted research for numerous Biochemistry firms and is a published academic. He has also worked for a number of Law Firms in recent years and achieved a Graduate Diploma in Law in 2019.
He is a keen sportsman, having represented Oxford University in Polo and played rugby and cricket for his College 1st teams.
He also likes to ski, travel and DJ.
