Teaching and tutoring experience

Anil has extensive experience tutoring Maths and Science up to GCSE level since 2010. He has worked for Tutorhouse in the past, and also specialises in Maths and Science at Key Stage 3 and Common Entrance level.

Anil’s other specialist subject is Music, and he has taught Music Theory and Music GCSE since the age of 18. He also works as a mentor for young musicians, and has assisted with successful Oxbridge applications and interview preparation for Music degrees.

For two years, Anil worked as a playworker for autistic and disabled children aged 5-18 with Cambridge Joint Playschemes. He also has experience teaching GCSE English and History.

Additional information

  • Anil has been teaching p​eripatetic cello and piano since 2010 in various junior and senior schools, from beginner level to advanced. In this role, he has prepared students for GCSE and A -level performing exams.

  • He also has functional movement screening level 1 and 2 (for sports performance and corrective exercise).

  • He is a a professional performing cellist, but has also worked part time in a property development fund, as a piano and cello teacher and as an academic tutor.
